\nLegacy of the Past<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/h1>\n

In den letzten Tagen ging es bei der Rede von den Stra\u00dfen und Tavernen um den sogenannten Todesfluch: eine Verschwendungskrankheit, die jeden heimsucht, der jemals von den Toten aufgereckt wurde. Die Opfer werden jeden Tag d\u00fcnner und schw\u00e4cher, rutschen langsam aber stetig in Richtung des Todes, den sie einst leugneten. Wenn sie schlie\u00dflich erliegen, k\u00f6nnen sie nicht aufgezogen werden – und auch niemand sonst, unabh\u00e4ngig davon, ob sie dieses Wunder jemals in der Vergangenheit erhalten haben. Tempel und Gelehrter g\u00f6ttlicher Magie sind ratlos, einen Fluch zu erkl\u00e4ren, der die gesamte Region und m\u00f6glicherweise die ganze Welt beeinflusst hat.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sie wurden in das Haus von Syndra Silvane, einem pensionierten Abenteurer und H\u00e4ndler, eingeladen. Ein uniformierter Begleiter f\u00fchrt Sie eine gro\u00dfe Treppe in den dritten Stock und f\u00fchrt Sie dann in einen holzget\u00e4felten Raum mit Kamin, bequemen St\u00fchlen und einem schweren Tisch, der Kelche und Weinflaschen tr\u00e4gt. Die dunkel get\u00e4felten W\u00e4nde sind mit Karten und Meereskarten beh\u00e4ngt. Racks, Regale und Schr\u00e4nke enthalten Hunderte weitere zusammengerollte Karten und Diagramme.<\/p>\n

Eine Person sitzt in einem \u00fcberf\u00fcllten Stuhl in der N\u00e4he des Feuers. Man kann kein Geschlecht erkennen, denn nur der Kopf der Person taucht unter einer schweren Decke \u00fcber dem Stuhl drapiert auf, und eine bestickte Kapuze und eine silberne Maske verbergen das Gesicht des Tr\u00e4gers. Selbst die trockene, kratzige Stimme der Person liefert keine Ahnung. „Helfen Sie, um Wein zu trinken und sich selbst, Freunde zu finden – ich hoffe, ich m\u00f6chte Sie so nennen.“<\/p>\n
